Juan Mata, Fernando Torres and Demba Ba continue the club's innovative blue paint theme to parade the adidas number which pays homage to the club's iconic white kits during the 1960s with blue and red trim - the use of red returns to club's kit for the first time since the 2010/11 home shirt.Mata
The kit incorporates ClimaCool technology which kit makers adidas say provides 3D fabrics to improve air flow to the players skin in key heat zones to improve performance.The new strip, which retails at £49.99, is available to pre-order now and goes on sale next month on July 4.It comes on the back of the release of their home shirt, which had a huge marketing campaign around it involving stars being dunked in vats of blue paint. That campaign is referenced in these pictures, with paint on the arms of Mata, Ba and Torres.
