Wachezaji 31 wameteuliwa kujiunga na timu ya Taifa ya vijana wenye umri chini ya miaka 20 (Ngorongoro Heroes) kwa ajili ya michuano ya Afrika ambayo fainali zake zitafanyika mwakani nchini Senegal.
Ngorongoro
Heroes itakayokuwa chini ya Kaimu Kocha John Simkoko akisaidiwa na
Mohamed Ayoub inaingia kambini kesho (Machi 19 mwaka huu) jijini Dar es
Salaam kujiandaa kwa mechi ya kwanza dhidi ya Kenya itakayochezwa kati
ya Aprili 4-6 jijini Nairobi.
Kikosi
kinachounda timu hiyo ambayo itarudiana na Kenya kati ya Aprili 25-27
mwaka huu jijini Dar es Salaam kinajumuisha pia baadhi ya wachezaji
walioonekana katika mpango wa ung’amuzi wa vipaji kwa ajili ya maboresho
ya Taifa Stars.
Wachezaji walioitwa ni makipa Aishi Manula
(Azam), Hamad Juma Hamad (Scouting- Temeke), Manyika Peter Manyika
(Scouting- Ilala) na Mwinyi Hassan Hamisi (Mtende, Zanzibar).
